Department Overview
The Department of Education plays a leading role in educating high-caliber and dedicated female teachers for Ghanaian educational institutions and beyond. The ambitious aim of the department is to train professionals for basic schools in Ghana through quality teaching, learning, research, and the application of 21st-century technologies to meet national needs and aspirations. The department is committed to changing the world by educating student teachers to become movers and shakers of our generation through sustainable teaching and learning processes. We are focused on providing activities that will holistically prepare female teachers to face the challenges of the modern world through knowledge acquisition and skills transfer to the younger generation.
